Xenos' story is a wild journey Gregor Eisenhorn is a great addition to the Warhammer setting. Now, I read these books in the omnibus version (pictured above) which consisted of the novel Xenos, Malleus, and Hereticus, as well as the short stories Missing in Action and Backcloth for a Crown Additional. In the second book of Whilst I might have liked Ravenor a bit less if I were reading the book when it came out - it's very slightly lacking in closure - as the first third or so of an omnibus it's pretty damn good. I don't remember now why I picked up Eisenhorn, Dan Abnett's trilogy about an Inquisitor in the Warhammer 40K universe. The Eisenhorn Omnibus was one of my favorite 40k reads. Dan Abnett's first Warhammer 40,000 trilogy centred around the activities of the Imperial Inqusition, Eisenhorn, by and large had a laser-sharp focus on the main character, but one of the more memorable supporting characters was Ravenor, Eisenhorn's apprentice. 2 Omnibus); 14.) Boba Fett: Death, Lies, & Treachery (Boba Fett Omnibus); 13.) Shadows of the Empire; 12.) The Devaronian Version (Quinlan Vos Omnibus); 11.) If any of you ever have the chance, check it out. I'm reading this and it's amazing. It follows an inquisitor through about 300 years. Eisenhorn is an omnibus of three Warhammer 40k books – Xenos, Malleus and Hereticus – and are generally considered to be some of the best work to be set in the Warhammer 40k universe. It is a fairly extensive online reference for all things Warhammer- Fantasy and 40K- and will help you translate some of the craziness. This trilogy is often tagged as one of the absolute best Warhammer 40k series, but will it live up to the hype? Amazon.com: Eisenhorn (A Warhammer 40,000 Omnibus) (9781844161560): Dan Abnett… I really enjoyed this book(3 books in 1 rather, 900ish pages)! Havent read any of Gaunt's, hope its not as bad as I hear. Dan Abnett is one of my favorite authors now. So you're getting a review for the whole kit and caboodle. It's set in the Warhammer 40k universe, and is centered around the title character, who is an Imperial Inquisitor.
